3D website design that still loads fast

A website with 3D lets people turn your product over, walk through your building or watch a scene build itself as they scroll. We design and develop custom 3D websites with three.js and WebGL, from a single 3D hero to full 3D animated websites.

  • 250 live sites built
  • $2k–$15k fixed quotes
  • 2–10 weeks to launch

What a 3D website can do for you

Show the product properly. A 3D model lets visitors see every side, every material and every colour, which photos alone cannot do. For physical products that means fewer questions and more confident buyers.

Tell a story in space. Scroll becomes a camera. You can fly from a wide shot to a detail, peel back layers, or assemble a product piece by piece, guiding the visitor through your pitch in the order you choose.

Be remembered. A memorable 3D website gets shared, featured on design galleries and talked about. It signals that the brand behind it sweats the details.

Our 3D performance rules
  • Models compressed with meshopt and WebP textures
  • 3D loads after the text, never before it
  • Lighter scenes and closer cameras on phones
  • Reduced-motion fallback for every animation
  • Text stays real HTML for SEO

Types of 3D website design

3D hero sectionOne interactive 3D scene at the top of your existing site. The fastest way to add 3D. From $2,000.
3D animated websiteA full one-page or multi-page site where 3D scenes move with scroll from section to section.
3D product websiteRotate, zoom and recolour your product. Exploded views, material close-ups and hotspots with details.
3D product configuratorBuyers choose colours, parts and finishes and see the result live, then add it to the cart.
Architecture and real estateBuildings, interiors and floor plans that build themselves on scroll, with camera views and lighting.
3D characters and mascotsAnimated characters that react to the cursor, like the soda crew on FIZZLINGS.

How we create 3D models for your website

If you have CAD files or existing 3D models, we optimise them for the web. If you do not, we create them: AI 3D generation gives us a fast first version, which we then clean up, retexture and light by hand. Either way, models are compressed until a full scene usually weighs a few megabytes, not hundreds.

We build in three.js, the most widely used 3D library on the web, inside a React and TypeScript codebase. That means the result is real, maintainable code you own, not a locked embed from a third-party tool.

3D website builder or a 3D design agency?

Tools like Spline and Webflow make it easy to drop a 3D object onto a page, and for a simple scene they are a good choice. A custom build makes sense when the 3D is the core of the experience: scroll-driven camera moves, many objects, physics, product configurators, or performance targets an embed cannot hit.

Not sure which you need? Send us your idea and we will tell you honestly, even if the answer is a template from our library.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a 3D website cost?

A 3D hero added to an existing site starts at $2,000. A full 3D animated website usually costs $4,500 to $8,000, and multi-scene sites or 3D product configurators cost $9,000 to $15,000.

Do 3D websites work on mobile phones?

Yes, when they are built for it. We use lighter models, fewer lights and adjusted camera positions on phones, and test every site on real mid-range devices.

Will a 3D website slow down my site or hurt SEO?

Not if it is built properly. The text loads first as normal HTML, and 3D assets load afterwards. Google sees a normal, crawlable page.

Can you use our existing 3D or CAD files?

Yes. We convert and optimise CAD, FBX, OBJ, GLB and USDZ files for the web. If you have no models, we create them.

What is the difference between a 3D website and a normal website?

A normal website shows flat images and text. A 3D website renders real three-dimensional objects in the browser, so visitors can rotate them, move around them, or watch them animate as they scroll.
