Neon Ripple Grid: an interactive 3D cursor template

A neon wireframe floor running a real wave simulation: the cursor leaves a wake and clicks drop stones.

Try it: Move to make a wake · click to drop a stone. Open the live Neon Ripple Grid full screen.

Where the Neon Ripple Grid works best

Synthwave and gaming pages, tech events and music releases.

How it is built

A height field runs a real wave equation on the CPU; the cursor stamps disturbances along its path so fast moves leave a continuous wake. The whole effect is plain three.js in one module script. It renders only while it is on screen and caps the pixel ratio on high-density displays to protect performance.

Add it to your website

  1. Add a Code, Embed or Custom HTML block where the effect should sit (Webflow, Framer, WordPress, GoHighLevel, Shopify or plain HTML).
  2. Paste the snippet. It is one element and one script; three.js loads from a CDN.
  3. Edit the colours and words in the settings block, then publish.

Do I need Spline or three.js experience?

No. It is one HTML element and one module script. Colours, text and images live in a settings block at the top.
