Pop the Bubbles: an interactive 3D cursor template
Iridescent soap bubbles drift upward; the air around the cursor nudges them and a touch pops them into droplets.
Try it: Touch a bubble to pop it · click to pop nearby. Open the live Pop the Bubbles full screen.
Where the Pop the Bubbles works best
Skincare, cleaning and wellness brands, children’s products and calm, playful hero sections.
How it is built
Bubbles use a thin-film shader whose colour follows the viewing angle and is blended as pure light; popping spawns droplets from a shared particle buffer. The whole effect is plain three.js in one module script. It renders only while it is on screen and caps the pixel ratio on high-density displays to protect performance.
Add it to your website
- Add a Code, Embed or Custom HTML block where the effect should sit (Webflow, Framer, WordPress, GoHighLevel, Shopify or plain HTML).
- Paste the snippet. It is one element and one script; three.js loads from a CDN.
- Edit the colours and words in the settings block, then publish.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Pop the Bubbles template free?
Yes. Anyone can open it live and copy the snippet.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. On touch screens it runs a gentle automatic motion so the scene is never still, and taps trigger the click interaction.
Do I need Spline or three.js experience?
No. It is one HTML element and one module script. Colours, text and images live in a settings block at the top.
