Glass Lens Headline: an interactive 3D cursor template
A clear glass ring floats over a bold headline and bends the type wherever the cursor drags it.
Try it: Move to steer the glass · click to spin it. Open the live Glass Lens Headline full screen.
Where the Glass Lens Headline works best
A hero headline for a design studio, an optics or eyewear brand, or any launch page where one bold word carries the message.
How it is built
The headline is drawn to a canvas texture behind a transmissive MeshPhysicalMaterial torus, so the real-time refraction bends the actual letters rather than a screenshot of them. The whole effect is plain three.js in one module script. It renders only while it is on screen and caps the pixel ratio on high-density displays to protect performance.
Add it to your website
- Add a Code, Embed or Custom HTML block where the effect should sit (Webflow, Framer, WordPress, GoHighLevel, Shopify or plain HTML).
- Paste the snippet. It is one element and one script; three.js loads from a CDN.
- Edit the colours and words in the settings block, then publish.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Glass Lens Headline template free?
Anyone can open it live and try the interaction. Copying the code is included with a Scrollhaus plan.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. On touch screens it runs a gentle automatic motion so the scene is never still, and taps trigger the click interaction.
Do I need Spline or three.js experience?
No. It is one HTML element and one module script. Colours, text and images live in a settings block at the top.
